I heard it before I saw it...
This is a 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera (530 hp V10, E-Gear)
I was on my way home when I saw this beats flying down HWY 90 in Richmond. The noise coming out of this machine was absolutely beautiful!
I went to Buffalo Run Park in Mo City to see a Fourth of July fireworks display. It was a short show but, I got some OK shots. It doesn't make up for the fireworks ban, but here is a slide show of the Buffalo Run display.
Took an early morning ride out to Galveston's East Beach a couple days ago. Shot this as the sun was breaking through the darkness.
I was at Cullinan park and came upon a pretty large dead armadillo. I could not help but to examine it for a minute, as the bare bone armor of the animal was fascinating. As I moved along, about 20 yards away, I met this little bugger foraging aimlessly in the open path. I could only wonder if this was the offspring of the unfortunate animal I had just passed. Poor little thing was oblivious as I followed it taking several shots.

Ever since the game Angry Birds was introduced to the world, birds everywhere have been inspired to become overly aggressive trouble makers, and thugs. Case in point:

I was recently a guest at the home of my ace bro, Big Mo to do some lifestyle shots. He was in his outdoor kitchen trying to decide which of his culinary delights he would whip up, and finally elected to bake an Asiago Spinach Quiche, with almond crusted pecans, and Embarcadero sauce. Just as Big Mo was about to crack some eggs, he was suddenly attacked by a group of these so-called "Angry Birds" Well... You can imagine what happens when birds attack a bona fide Pit Master.... Yup... Big Mo had those stupid birds plucked, rubbed down, and injected with sweet, buttery butter while they were still in mid flight. Directly from air to grill; in a *snap* , these birds were ready to be baptized in smoke! In the end, I can attest, those birds went out with honor. They were absolutely phenomenal!! Angry Birds around the world are saying “That’s how I wanna go out…”
